Yesterday the site jailbreakme.com was releases, which enables you to jailbreak almost any apple product without a computer. You just go to the site, press a button, and wait a few minutes. That’s it.
NOTE: You must have OS. 4.0 or earlier!

A few days ago apple released a major update to their operating system for mobile devices. (And they also released the iPhone 4) Heres an overview of some of the new features:
Multitasking
Now you can run multiple apps and the same time and switch between them quickly. For example you can be listening to Pandora Simple double-Click the home button and the screen will slide up revealing a mini dock below. You can switch between pages by swiping left and right as usual, and you can even access control your music if you swipe left. To quit an app, simply hold it down until a red circle appears, and then press it. (NOTE: this will NOT delete the app it will just quit it.

Apple has reserved a stage area for an event on the 27th of this month. Their tagline on the invites is “Come see our latest creation”. This will hopefully be the much rumored tablet. We also hope to see info in iphone 4.0 and possible a new version of iLife or iWork.

Apple has released the iPod Nano 5th generation update firmware 1.0.2. It includes minor fixes and additions to the firmware. Here are some of the fixes/additions:
- Fixed audiobook playbook setting so Normal, Slower, Faster, works for audio podcasts
- Resolved issue where Genius Mixes did not work when using the Nike+ Sport Kit
- Accessibility setting for Mono Audio in now working
- Fixed bug so VoiceOver menu items are no longer skipped when using headphone + and – volume buttons to navigate
